Product Overview
The functions of plastic powder sintered filter elements:
1. High-efficiency filtration and purification Solid-liquid/gas-solid separation: Can intercept suspended solids and particles in liquids or gases (precision 0.3-100μm), such as in the pharmaceutical industry for liquid clarification and catalyst recovery in chemical processes. Microbial removal: Certain filter elements (such as PTFE) can achieve 0.1μm sterilization-level filtration, used in the production of sterile preparations or high-purity gas treatment.
2. Corrosion resistance and chemical stability Strong acid and alkali resistance: PE filter elements can withstand non-oxidizing acids, alkalis, and organic solvents (below 80°C), while PTFE filter elements can even withstand extreme media like concentrated sulfuric acid and sodium hydroxide. Inert materials: No leachables, compliant with GMP regulations, suitable for high sanitary standards in food and pharmaceutical applications.
3. High temperature and high pressure adaptability Wide temperature range: PE filter elements are suitable for long-term use at ≤80°C, while PTFE filter elements can withstand -200°C to 260°C, adapting to high-temperature sterilization or cryogenic processes. High mechanical strength: Burst pressure differential ≥0.5MPa, shock-resistant and not easily deformed.
4. Easy regeneration and maintenance Backwashing regeneration: Restores filtration performance through water pressure, gas pressure, or chemical cleaning, extending service life. Dry residue design: Solid particles can be recovered dry, reducing filter element replacement frequency and lowering operational costs.
5. Typical application scenarios Environmental protection: Heavy metal removal from electroplating wastewater, recycle treatment of coal wastewater. Chemical industry: Filtration of highly corrosive solvents (such as acetone, DMF), catalyst separation. Food and beverage: Fine filtration of alcoholic beverages, preparation of ultra-pure water.
Plastic powder sintered filter elements provide stable and efficient filtration solutions in complex working conditions through their porous structure and material characteristics, while also considering economy and safety.
