Bronze sintering muffler is a noise reduction equipment manufactured based on metal powder sintering technology, and its core structure is formed by fine copper powder sintering at high temperature to form a porous network to achieve efficient sound energy attenuation,the working principle of copper sintered muffler is based on the conversion of acoustic wave energy, which mainly includes three mechanisms: reflection, interference and absorption:
Acoustic Reflection and Interference: When the noise airflow enters the microporous structure, the sound waves are repeatedly refracted and reflected in the porous maze, resulting in phase misalignment canceling each other out, significantly weakening the medium and high frequency noise
Energy absorption and heat conversion: Copper sintered micropores generate frictional resistance, convert acoustic wave energy into heat energy (conversion efficiency can reach more than 60%), and reduce gas temperature and noise intensity
Flow rate control and expansion cooling: The adjustment plate changes the chamber volume (expandable to 20 times the original airflow channel), so that the high-pressure airflow expands and slows down step by step, from supersonic to subsonic, and the noise peak is reduced by more than 30 decibels
In practical applications, copper’s high thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance ensure stability in high-temperature and high-pressure environments, such as industrial valves or engine exhaust systems.
