Bronze sintered muffler is a kind of noise reduction element commonly used in pneumatic systems, solenoid valves and other equipment, through the bronze powder sintering process to make a filter element structure, both sound dampening and filtration functions, the main types and characteristics:
Structural classification
Flat head type: such as BSL series, suitable for solenoid valve exhaust port, with various thread specifications (such as 1/8, 1/4, 3/4, etc.).
Pagoda type: such as TTY-B model, with ZG thread, metal material is wear-resistant.
Quick-plug type: such as the PSF series, plug-in design, dustproof and breathable and noise reduction effect is remarkable.
Double-ended thread type: external tooth design, suitable for high-pressure environments such as natural gas.
Material and performance Most of them are made of bronze, with a withstand pressure range of 0.1-1.0MPa, and an operating temperature of 0-60°C.
Some models are made of stainless steel (e.g. 304/316) to improve high temperature resistance.
Noise reduction principle
The porous structure of the sintered bronze filter element absorbs sound wave energy, combined with interference and damping effects to reduce noise, especially for the medium and high frequency bands.
